Schoen Park – Trash Cleanup and Invasive Plant Trimming

Description

This small park needs your help! It is located in a high density neighborhood and next to the San Rafael Creek/Canal. Volunteers will pick up trash around the park(s) and marsh or help trim back the plants that hide Schoen Park.

What to bring: Water in a reusable bottle, your favorite work gloves, sunscreen, hat, layered clothing, and sturdy close-toed shoes. We will have gloves if you do not, but no children's sizes.

A: Schoen Park is located where Canal St. becomes Spinnaker Point Drive. This small park is east of Albert J. Boro Community Center.

Q: Details of Parking
A: Street parking is limited. Please do not park at Albert J. Boro Community Center as they have events, so consider a carpool, biking or walking.
