Saturday March 4th, 10 AM to 2 PM
Join MMWD and the Watershed Stewards Program for a day of service at Samuel P. Taylor State Park! This program will focus on restoring the riparian redwood forest. We will be working alongside Lagunitas Creek, a wild Coho, Chinook salmon, and Steelhead trout bearing waterway.
It will be a productive and fun day of invasive grass removal and mulching. Volunteers will be laying down straw and redwood duff as natural cover for the removal sites. Free lunch will be provided! A short interpretation hike throughout the park will end the program.
