Join Marin County Parks and WildCare staff for creek cleanup work, habitat restoration, and an optional nature hike in celebration of Earth Day! Volunteers can choose to focus on litter removal from the Corte Madera Creek watershed, invasive plant removal from habitat restoration areas in Hal Brown Park, a nature walk with bilingual interpretive naturalist Marco Berger, or any combination of these three activities.
Event is 10am-1pm, Saturday April 22nd. Meet by the pedestrian bridge across from Marin General Hospital (250 Bon Air Rd, Greenbrae, CA 94904). Wear layered clothing and shoes that can get dirty. Bring sun protection and a water bottle. Snacks, water, gloves, tools and leadership provided. This event is suitable for volunteers of all ages. Contact Marin County Parks Volunteer Coordinator Kirk Schroeder at KSchroeder@marincounty.org or 415-763-2977 if you have questions or would like to RSVP.
