Christmas Food & Toys Distrubtion: this part of The Salvation Army's Christmas Assistance Program, in partnership with Santa Cop, has many different volunteer opportunties. Volunteers may find themselves helping to load trucks headed to offsite locations. Some volunteers might work the car line outside, checking in parents who are here to receive gifts. Many volunteers will be runners who will go get the presents from the Armory Drill Floor to give them to the Loading Team. Loaders will then take gifts from the Runners to load into families cars along with a Holiday Food Box and Turkey.
This is a great opportunity for families* or small groups to help in the same location.
*This is a warehouse environment. All youth below the age of 16 must be supervised by a parent or custodial adult.
