The Civic Center Volunteers program engages the expertise and energy of civic-minded individuals in County of Marin roles that help the community thrive. In almost every county department, volunteers contribute their skills and student interns learn through doing. CCV is a great place to be a member of a team -- or to work quietly alone. This award-winning program was started by the Marin County Board of Supervisors in 1979. Last year, move than 8,200 participants served over 250,000 hours.
