Bay Area Volunteers

Organization Profile

What We Do:

The Civic Center Volunteers program manages creative partnerships between community members and the County of Marin. We engage the talents and energies of civic-minded individuals in satisfying roles that support good government. CCV is a great place to be a member of a team -- or to work quietly alone. We offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities and student internships in county departments. This internationally recognized, innovative program was founded in 1979 by the Marin County Board of Supervisors. Last year 7,700 Civic Center Volunteers contributed the equivalent of $10 million in services. For details, click the website link below, then scroll down and choose Search Opportunities.""
