Organization Profile

Marin Art and Garden Center

What We Do:

Marin Art and Garden Center is a non-profit 501(c) (3) corporation staffed primarily by volunteers and funded solely through private donations and rental fees. Thanks to the efforts and the foresight of local conservation activists, these spectacular eleven acres were saved from development in 1943. Since its inception, countless volunteers have worked to provide the community with a unique gathering place to participate in cultural and educational opportunities.

Who We Are:

Marin Art and Garden Center presents programs and host lectures related to the arts, gardens, and conservation for audiences of all ages. We host free summer concerts in June, July, and August on our gazebo lawn where our resident groups join with the community to enjoy our lovely grounds. We have a preschool during the school year called The Garden School, and will host summer day camps in conjunction with the Bay Area Discovery Museum. Classes related to gardening, yoga, photography, painting, etc. will be offered on an ongoing basis. Please visit our website to find about upcoming events at
