What We Do:

As a community based nonprofit organization, our mission is to help low-income people overcome their crises and move toward self-sufficiency. The Center has grown tremendously since it was started by three Novato residents in 1972, serving nearly 4000 low-income families, children and seniors annually. We continue to distribute approximately one quarter of our funds each year as direct support to clients who need temporary emergency assistance (rent, clothing, food). Our Center remains dedicated to responding to the urgent needs of Novato‚??s families living in poverty ‚?? helping them gain the resources and guidance they need to confidently move forward to achieve a brighter future.

Who We Are:

Our Center provides essential information, along with resources like food, temporary rental assistance, and experienced advocates to help people confidently move forward on their path to a better life. Join us and help 3,800 low-income children, adults, and seniors achieve success!
