Novato Youth Center

What We Do:

The Novato Youth Center's mission is to inspire and prepare youth to succeed. We accomplish this by supporting their development in: academics and learning; health and well being; personal enrichment through arts and athletics; and social interaction and community engagement.

Who We Are:

Annually the Novato Youth Center serves over 3,500 youth and the adults in their lives through 5 program areas. Our programs are offered in our 23,000 sq. ft. main facility at 680 Wilson Avenue, on elementary, middle and high school campuses throughout Novato, in the community, and at the Novato Wellness Center at 1767 Grant Avenue. Our program offerings have evolved to 5 program areas: Child Development, ages 6 weeks to 14 years; Sports Leagues, basketball, indoor soccer, and volleyball leagues; Youth and Family Counseling, evidence-based individual, family and group therapy programs; the Novato Wellness Center, Novato's only school-linked health center; and Health Education, a collection of programs that support parent outreach and engagement in schools, and volunteerism in the community. There?s no other Novato organization that provides the depth and breadth of services that we do. With a FY10/11 operating budget of $2,515,224, this 501c3 non-profit generates revenue from diverse sources including program fees, government grants, individual and corporate donations, and foundation grants. We also have an active Board of Directors with 100% giving to the agency, including 2 teen board members. The agency is led by experienced professionals and community members you can trust. Your support will make a difference in continuing to serve the community.
