What We Do:

To unite resources and expertise, coordinate plans, and care for Mt. Tam in a more holistic manner, the four public agencies responsible for Mt. Tam (California State Parks, Marin County Parks, Marin Municipal Water District, and the National Park Service) have teamed with the nonprofit Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy to form the Tamalpais Lands Collaborative.

Who We Are:

One Tam works to protect the incredible ecosystems and visitor resources that we have on the mountain, and provide youth and community programs that will inspire our next generation of land stewards. If you love Mt. Tam and want to give back, we would love to work with you. Volunteer activities include:Habitat Restoration Trails maintenanceWildlife camera photo cataloging and other community science projectsBecome an ambassador for the mountain- help us raise community support for the mountain at trail heads, festivals, through special events and more.Visit our calendar or contact us at Volunteer@onetam.org for more information or to set up a group project.
