Organization Profile

Pachamama Alliance

What We Do:

Our mission is to empower the indigenous people of the Amazon rainforest to preserve their lands and culture and, using insights gained from that work, to educate and inspire individuals everywhere to bring forth a thriving, just, and sustainable world.

Who We Are:

The Pachamama Alliance was born out of a partnership developed between the Achuar, an indigenous tribe of the Amazon region of Ecuador, and a group of leaders in the United States. The primary purpose of our work in Ecuador, or the South is to support the indigenous people to protect the Rain Forest, their home.  Out of what we learned from them, we have created transformational programs that are delivered all over the world and online, to change the dream of the modern world.
