The Richard de Lone Special Housing Projecthttp://www.rdshp.org
What We Do:
Since its establishment as a 501c3 organization in 2008, RDSHP has been raising funds for state of the art residential services for children and adults with Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) and actively advocating for the these services. Founded by the parents of Richard de Lone, Austin and Lesley, and with the support of friends and neighbors including other families impacted by PWS, RDSHP is moving forward on securing residential property in Marin and developing a licensed home for folks with PWS. Our Vision is that people with Prader-Willi syndrome will have the support of family, friends and community to experience the best quality of life possible. Our Mission is to establish and maintain homes that serve people who have Prader-Willi syndrome and other individuals with developmental disabilities who have similar service needs, to provide support services to these individuals and their families, and to educate the public about Prader-Willi syndrome.
Who We Are:
We are actively engaged in establishing a home in Marin County for adults with Prader-Willi syndrome.
